The ideal candidate has experience crafting entertaining, high-energy videos that keep audiences engaged across social media and long-form platforms.Responsibilities:
- Edit three (1-3 min) short social media videos per week, optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit 1-2 long-form episodes per week with a compelling storytelling approach.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound effects, and fast-paced transitions to enhance viewer engagement.
- Source and integrate relevant references, memes, and pop culture clips to match the show’s tone.
- Ensure all videos align with brand identity, audience expectations, and platform-specific trends.
- Optimize content for multiple platforms, focusing on pacing, storytelling, and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with the creative team to refine style, visual effects, and overall content direction.
Ideal ProfileRequirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, text animation, and pop culture trends.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality edits.
- Highly creative, adaptable, and open to feedback.
- Passion for internet culture, viral trends, and social media engagement strategies.
