Job Description :
- Responsible for the support, maintenance and project roll out of tax systems (Tax One, Onesource and ODI/OBI integrations (Thomson Reuters) and Nota Fiscal Electronica) and ERP (Oracle EBS R12).
- Responsible for the maintenance of user and technical level documentation. Document changes and create troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in the development of finance systems, robust testing of new functionality, processes and setups and preparation of related documentation for sign off.
- Work with Finance teams to clarify business requirements, map them to systems capabilities, and recommend technical solutions.
- Convert business requirements into technical solution.
- Provide cover for other team members to share the workload.
- Take on projects from time to time. This involves leading project meetings and working with other teams in Finance and IT, keeping the appropriate teams regularly informed of progress and developments.
- Propose solutions (or improvements) for future and current requirements using any of the existing or new tools.
Requirements :
- At least Bachelor degree in Computing, Business and Accountancy or a similar field of study.
- 4-10 years of working experience in similar role supporting Tax system, preferably Thomson Reuters solution/product range, and integration with ERP.
- Knowledge of implementing the TaxOne/Onesource tax system with integration with ERP (preferably Oracle EBS).
- Knowledge in programming language (e.g. SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript) is a plus.
- Thomson Reuters certification is a plus.
- Ability to grasp finance and technical concepts quickly, develop expertise while on-the-job training.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to grasp complex concepts and ability to communicate internally with all stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Team player and able to work and learn independently when necessary.
- Hardworking with acute attention-to-detail skills.
